How do you get started with RentMagic? Depending on your knowledge and experience, there are several approaches.
DIY
The strength of RentMagic is that it is fundamentally a turn-key solution. All the necessary features to set up your rental process is on board, which you can configure yourself. With the help of training and manuals you can set up the environment yourself. Still need help? Then you can always bring in a consultant.
Guidance and training
With some guidance it is also possible to start RentMagic successfully. Outsource the parts you are not sure about and set up the modules you are familiar with yourself. Through training, RentMagic will be taught to you, which in turn you can pass on to colleagues.
Project-based
Within more complex environments, RentMagic is best implemented on a project basis. The entire project is supervised and coordinated by Infodatek. Customization and process adaptations can also be carried out, think of inter company, complex price calculations, special way of invoicing and making integrations.

Project start-up
A good start underlies the proper on-boarding of RentMagic. The kick-off meeting is the kick-off meeting of the project. During this meeting we bring all parties involved together to clearly define the goals, expectations and timeline of the project. This is a crucial step to ensure clear communication and a shared understanding of the journey ahead.
Throughout the project, the consultant will provide the guidance necessary to achieve successful delivery.
From this phase, a plan of action is developed for the follow-up process.
Onboarding
The onboarding can begin.
From the plan of action, all objectives, responsibilities and the schedule are established.
During the onboarding, our consultant will go through the various processes of your operations with you.
It starts with a top-level outline of the process flows, and then iteratively delivers them in smaller parts.
In this way, your team becomes quickly and thoroughly familiar with RentMagic and we are agile when new insights or conclusions arise.
Webshop/e-commerce
RentMagic's front-end application is the environment where the interactivity with customers starts. It is often an e-commerce environment where equipment is rented and/or sold in the form of a webshop. The consultancy that takes place for this component relates to the experience for customers, how products are presented and how making a reservation works.
In addition to the subscription for this add-on, there is also work that is of interest, these are listed below.
Do you only want to limit yourself to a portal for access to certain aspects? That is, of course, also possible.
Training
New software means getting used to it, no matter how easy it may be to use. Training is sometimes necessary to get teams of users all moving in "the same direction. Do not underestimate the importance of training. Depending on the size of the organization as well as the needs in guidance, a number of types of training can be chosen. Depending on the possibilities, we will discuss when, how and where the trainings will be carried out.
Testing & Go-live
The moment of going live with the software. Everything is ready and the last tests are still done with the consultant? Everything is fine? Then we can go live. Of course, depending on the situation, this can be done in phases or in a kind of cut-over, where everything is transferred to RentMagic in one go.
Prior to the go-live, the last training sessions are often given to those involved, so that they can start working immediately.
Aftercare and standby
Project completion does not mark the end of our involvement. We value our clients' satisfaction, and that goes beyond RentMagic's onboarding.
After completion, we provide thorough aftercare. We understand that questions or unforeseen situations can always arise once the software is put into use. We have therefore set up our service desk to follow up on your questions quickly and adequately. More information about the service desk will be shared during the go-live.
Our goal is to ensure that you are not only satisfied with the final product, but also with the support and assurance we provide after project delivery.
Service subscription
Infodatek Group offers the possibility to purchase a service subscription for RentMagic. The investment for the consultancy work done by Infodatek or a partner will be calculated monthly in the form of a subscription. After an extensive inventory, a monthly amount will be agreed and invoiced.
The service subscription can only be purchased with a RentMagic Plus or Corporate edition.
